The Journalist Thematic Network Meeting will take place in Rome on 18 and 19 November at the premises of the European Commission - Representation in Italy.
During the meeting EIGE will present its latest and important report "Beijing +20" developed for the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU and will provide an analysis on how far gender equality has reached (or not).
The meeting is addressed to journalists, media representatives and communications experts from 27 EU Member States, to whom will be given the opportunity to discuss the report’s findings with EIGE's experts.
Representative case histories will also be presented and a press conference for italian journalists will be organised at the end of the second day of the meeting.
