GEP – University of Warsaw (UW) (PL)

The GEP of the University of Warsaw has five objectives: (1) raising awareness about the importance of equality issues and strengthening positive attitudes towards diversity, (2) supporting the development of women’s academic careers, (3) ensuring gender equality in the recruitment of female and male employees and in the doctoral schools, (4) facilitating the combination of work and family life and (5) increasing a balanced gender representation with respect to chairpersons of faculty and university committees, management, expert and reviewer teams and chairpersons of scientific and promotional events. Each objective is to be achieved through planned activities and measured by indicators. The GEP additionally specifies person(s) responsible for carrying out each activity.
