The overall objective of the study is contribute to an improved institutional response by Member States of the European Union in combatting violence against women; by better protection of women from further victimisation, and supporting the strengthening of efforts of Member States, specifically Police, to accurately estimate and manage the risk of further victimisation, thus protecting women from further violence.
The specific objective is to support Member States in meeting the requirements of the European Union legal framework and Istanbul Convention regarding the protection of victims of intimate partner violence against women.
