The objective of the event are:
- Discuss how the just transition is an essential and accelerating path for the reindustrialization of Europe, within a framework of climate neutrality by 2030 and the Paris Agreement
- Advance in best practices so that the clean energy transition process does not leave anyone behind and advances in social justice.
- Sharing experiences and fostering an open dialogue on both issues to identify some recommendations for the future on the design, implementation and monitoring of the just transition in Europe.
- Promote and support the involvement of civil society to generate consensus for the green transition.
- Foster dialogue with other countries embarking on a path similar to that of the EU in terms of climate ambition and just transition.
