EIGE is one of the 41 EU Agencies set-up by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, tasked to support better informed policy-making, both at EU and Member States' level.

The EU Agencies operate in all EU policy areas, have been created to help implement EU policies more efficiently and to respond to particular needs identified by the EU Institutions and Member States.

The EU Agencies Stand - organised within the European Parliament by Fundamental Rights Agency  - with the support of all other agencies, aims at raising awareness of MEPs and staff on the work and results of all the agencies.
