Women and girls in the Global South are disproportionately affected by the impact of climate change. Despite playing a pivotal role in their communities, women often lack economic and political influence and depend heavily on natural resources, particularly in rural areas, rendering them more vulnerable to climate change's effects.

This event will convene a panel of diverse speakers from various organizations to explore the significance of utilizing climate finance to advance gender equality.
