EIGE Director attends the Informal meeting of gender equality ministers organised by Belgium Presidency of the Council of the EU. At this informal meeting the ministers will debate how EU Member States can better work to bring a new and stronger dynamic to the future of gender equality in the EU, to safeguard the progress made so far and to build on that progress to advance further together. 

EIGE Director will address the ministers and will highlight key trends and challenges in gender equality in the EU and call to place gender equality at the very centre of EU policies. In the margins of the Informal Ministers meeting, EIGE Director will hold bilateral talks with Katarzyna Kotula, Minister of Equality of Poland; Agnes Hornung, Minister of State for Familu, Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary and Carol Baxter, Assistant Secretary General of Equality, Youth and Participation Division.
