Ensuring a fair and just transition for all requires examining and responding to the barriers and obstacles that, if removed, could lead to equal opportunities for vulnerable populations and groups of stakeholders so far underrepresented in the labour market.
The aim of this conference is to:
- understand the barriers preventing underrepresented groups from working in green and transforming sectors.
- exchange on how vulnerable citizens and households could be empowered to better cope with the consequences of green and energy transition.
- discuss ways in which these underrepresented and marginalised groups can be explicitly engaged in the just transition.
