UNECE, the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CISSTAT), the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) and Statistics Lithuania are jointly organizing a Workshop on Gender Statistics for countries of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. The meeting will be held at EIGE, Gedimino pr. 16, Vilnius (Lithuania). The Workshop will precede the UNECE Work Session on Gender Statistics, which will take place on 1–3 June at the same venue. 

The Workshop will enhance the capacity of national statistical offices in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia to disseminate and communicate gender statistics and to produce gender-oriented indicators for reviewing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
