24 MAY: Regional Workshop for EU Accession Countries on EIGE's Gender Equality Index and Gender Statistics Database

The workshop aims to significantly advance calculation of the Gender Equality Index for each EU accession country in accordance with the methodology used in EU-28, if relevant data are available. Main agenda items: developing the composite indicators, conceptual framework of the Gender Equality Index, measurement framework and selection of variables. The workshop will also introduce quality criteria for contribution of national data to EIGE's Gender Statistics Database.

 

The event is a cooperation of the Statistics Sweden Balkan Project Office and the European Institute for Gender Equality, an EU agency.
