GRAAL

Graal is an international women's movement aiming to directly support women in diverse domains of intervention. In Portugal, the main working areas entail caring and time issues, economic independence, education, health, migration, empowerment and support to victims of domestic violence. As far as work-life balance is concerned, some innovative initiatives are worth noting, such as the time bank, which has relied on the reinforcement of community networking. Specific projects have been developed in the field of reconciliation between work and family life. Graal is one of the NGOs represented on the CIG's advisory board.
