Employment, family and gender equality

The study reviews from a gender equality perspective the recent governments’ objectives and measures for the reconciliation of work and family in gender equality policy, family policy and working life policy over the last ten years. The priorities and effectiveness of the policy carried out are evaluated in the light of research-based information in relation to the challenges brought about by societal changes. The conditions set by the objectives and measures in the different policy areas for each other and their implications are analysed.
