Guide for gender impact assessment in legislative initiatives
This handbook provides guidance for applying gender impact assessment in the drafting of legislation. It provides guidance for assessing whether a gender impact assessment is needed, for the planning and implementation of the assessment, as well as for taking the results of the assessment into account. The aim of the handbook is to provide guidance for civil servants in all ministries and to stress the mandatory character of GIA.
