Tecnical Guidelines for Health Professionals - Female Genital Mutilation

It mentions the WHO criterions for FGM classifications and consequences (immediate and long term), Psychological and sexual consequences for sexual response, obstetric complications, family planning; pregnancy; pre-conception, Labour, puerperium; Intervention in the community; Referral or the female new born –“ Prior to discharge from the maternity health professionals must coordinate with the Corps Support Hospital for Children and Youth at Risk (NHACJR) to be asked for continued monitoring of this family.
