5th Meeting of Officials from EU Enlargement Countries - Vilnius, 27-28 October 2016

The 5th Meeting of Officials from EU Enlargement countries will take place on 27-28 October 2016 at the European Institute for Gender Equality, Gedimino pr. 16, Vilnius, Lithuania. The event will be organised within the framework of EIGE’s Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance project Involvement of EU candidate countries and potential candidates in work of the European Institute for Gender Equality and deepening of cooperation in common priority areas. The goal of this annual meeting is to provide an update of recent gender equality-related developments at the Institute and the EU Enlargement countries, as well as contribute to the planning of further cooperation. This meeting will contribute to advancing the work on the Gender Equality Index in the Western Balkan countries and Turkey, as well as improving their coverage in EIGE’s Gender Statistics Database.
