In the context of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the informal meeting of ministers for Employment and Social Policies will be held in Bucharest on April 10-11, 2019

The event will begin in the morning of April 10th 2019, when the Employment and Social Policy Ministers of the Member States will meet at the Palace of the Parliament to discuss issues related to

  • women’s participation in the labour market and management
  • the pay gap between women and men
  • integration of women with disabilities into the labour market

The debates on the April 11th will focus on

  • elaborating a strategy to ensure gender equality 
  • integrating gender perspectives into the social dimension of the EU after 2020
