Maternity Action
Maternity Action is a national charity working to end inequality and promote the health and well-being of all pregnant women, their partners and children from before conception through to the child's early years. They provide advice to parents about their rights at work and rights to benefits and healthcare; advice and information for employers managing pregnant women and new parents at work; they run campaigns to raise awareness of the rights of pregnant women, young children and their families; they offer training for community workers, clinicians and others to provide advice and support to vulnerable women and their families; and they conduct research that focuses on the experiences of vulnerable women, babies and families.
