Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf gestalten! (Managing Reconciliation of Family and Work!)

This programme has been conducted by the Managing Executive Committee of the German Confederation of Trade Unions (DGB) since 2008. It seeks to make a large number of enterprises aware of the advantages of a family-conscious management by enabling works councils and staff councils to recognise existing needs and to develop solutions for a better reconciliation of family and work. Objectives of the programme are to advance an exchange of experiences, to aggregate and spread knowledge and practical examples, to provide guidance, checklists and concrete trainings and to give a new impetus to educational offers and corporate practice. In addition, training modules and concepts, workshops, specialist conferences, counselling, contacts and support for educational offers and public relations work are provided as well as regular information through a newsletter and the Internet. Managing Reconciliation of Family and Work! is part of the programme "Success Factor Family".
