III Plano Nacional para a Igualdade — Cidadania e Género (2007-2010)

The 3rd Plan intends to reinforce, in an integrated and transversal way, the fight against gender inequality in all domains of social, political, economic and cultural life. Moreover, in a complementing perspective, this Plan supports, on the one hand, the integration of the gender dimension in different policy areas (gender mainstreaming), and, on the other hand, specific actions to promote gender equality (including positive actions). The 3rd Plan defines five strategic areas of intervention broken down in 32 objectives and 155 measures.
