Sexist stereotypes dominate front pages of British newspapers

This article discusses the results of Kira Cochrane’s research (see Cochrane, K., 4 December 2011 above). It also reports that the BBC’s new director general, George Entwistle, acknowledges that women are not properly represented on screen and more needs to be done to promote female experts or ensure they take part on news programmes.
