Equality between Men and Women in Collective Agreements
This is the first research study in Cyprus on the inclusion of equality between women in collective agreements in Cyprus from a gender perspective. The study points out the absence of gender equality in collective agreements and the absence of female representation in trade union decision-making and leadership. Conclusions include that the vast majority of women in the Cypriot labour force are employed in flexible forms of employment (part-time and temporary) because they cannot find full-time positions.
