Information report filed pursuant to Article 86, paragraph 8, of the Rules

The Law of 4 April 2006 was unanimously praised by all the persons heard by the reporter and co-reporters, because it has not only established legal mechanisms necessary to prevent and fight against domestic violence, which it is still too early to assess the actual application, but also because it has helped to change minds on this difficult subject, even if this point is a long way to go. Too often, those in the field behind the intimacy of couples and their rejection of interference in private affairs not to react. Hence the urgent need for more training in management of these actors.
