Campaign in Finland, ‘Valoa ei Vakivaltaa’ (Light - No Violence) to raise awareness of violence against women: (a) a large exhibition in Helsinki entitled ‘Silent Witness’, which remembered women who have been killed by their partners, (b) 30 other events around Finland, (c) The campaigners also collected 106 signatures, from members of parliament and representatives of government, on a petition against violence against women.
