Women Refugees and Asylum Seekers in the EU

On 3 March EIGE will contribute to European Parliament's Interparliamentary Committee meeting on "Women refugees and asylum seekers in the EU", hosted by the Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee (FEMM). The meeting is the annual European Parliament's event dedicated to celebrate International Women's Day. A number of high level speakers, among them EP President Schulz, former President of Ireland Mary Robinson and many more will contribute to discussions. In the context of this event, EIGE will co-chair a workshop "Gender and healthcare: the situation of women refugees and asylum seekers".
