The 4th meeting of the Working Group on the Gender Equality Index will take place in Vilnius on 20-21 February 2014. The following topics will be discussed:

  1. Update of the Gender Equality Index 2012: reflection on the lesson learned from the first edition;
  2. Introduction of deeper analysis on the subdomain of quality of work;
  3. Challenge of filling the gaps in the domain of Violence (gender-based violence against women; attitudes, norms and stereotypes) as well as intersecting inequalities;
  4. Inclusion of data on health behaviour and social power, the only two sub-domains which remain empty;
  5. Methodological aspects: comparability over time of the Gender Equality Index  between the core and the satellites domains.
