EIGE's Director, Virginija Langbakk has contributed with an article on gender perspective on power to the book "Kvinnornas EU"/ "Women's EU" (red. Gabriele Winai Strom) that is  launched today at the International Book Fair in Gothenburg.  

 

On this occasion, participants to the bookfair are invited to attend a debate on "How can women increase their influence in the EU"?

Jytte Guteland, EU parlamentarian  and Maj-Inger Klingvall, Ambassador will give their tips and ideas on how to lobby and push for better,  decisions, improving on decisions for genier equality, to influence on EU decisions.

Alexandrina Satnoianu, from the European Institute for Gender Equality, will present tools that EIGE puts at disposal of policy-makers and decision-makers for advancing gender equality in the EU.
