This tender is announced with a view to select the best proposal for the implementation of the project “Collection of Good Practices on Gender Mainstreaming in the European Green Deal”. The contract is carried out within the framework of EIGE’s work on policy support on gender mainstreaming.

The submitted work shall revise the methodology and criteria for identifying good practices and select a set of good practices in the European Green Deal related policies.

The revised methodology and selection of practices will be validated in a participatory manner. As part of a consultation process the contractor will work with EIGE and other key stakeholders in the policy area, including EIGE’s Thematic Network on Gender Mainstreaming. This process will serve as an awareness raising and competence development mechanism.   

The geographical scope for the gathering of available information on examples of gender mainstreaming approaches, methods and tools in Green Deal policies will include all EU Member States.  The gathering of information and identification of examples shall cover national, regional, and local initiatives including those funded by EU Funds. The study shall collect and analyse relevant documents produced until 2022.

The study will identify gender mainstreaming practices and select a set of good practices in a participatory manner.  The expected results are:  

  1. Provision of evidence-based findings on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal areas.
  2. Identification of good practices on gender mainstreaming in the European Green Deal areas.
  3. Foster the uptake of gender mainstreaming in Green Deal areas in the EU.
