  • Traineeships - Knowledge Management and Communications Unit

    The European Institute for Gender Equality1 (EIGE) announces traineeship opportunities in its Knowledge Management & Communications Unit lasting six months2 for graduates who are either nationals of an EU Member State or an EFTA country or an IPA qualifying country3. The traineeships are based at the Institute's premises in Vilnius, Lithuania. The traineeship will offer the possibility to university graduates in areas such as web development, editing and publishing, communications, or similar to gain experience in the work of the EU in general and in the work of EIGE in particular.

  • Administrative Agent – ICT Support (three year contract)

    The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE)1 is organising a second call for applications with a view to establishing a reserve list for the post of Administrative Agent – ICT Support. The registration of applications will begin on 12 October 2022 and close on 11 November 2022 at 13:00 Eastern European Time. The deadline was further extended to 02 January 2023 13:00 Eastern European Time (EET).

  • Seconded National Expert – Gender Mainstreaming

    The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE)1 invites applications with a view to establishing a reserve list for the post of Seconded National Expert– Gender Mainstreaming. The registration of applications will begin on 11 October 2022 and will close on 23 January 2023 at 13:30 Eastern European Time (EET). The deadline has been extended to 28 February 2023 at 13:30 Eastern European Time (EET).

    Promoting gender equality is a key principle of the EU in all its activities. European research still shows a pronounced under-representation of women, particularly in the hard sciences and in leadership positions. Gender equality in research is essential not only for fairness and inclusiveness, but because it could help address current and future deficits in skilled labour within the EU and support the transition to a fair, green and digital society.
