Description

The Directive (EU) 2024/1385 on combating violence against women (VAW) and domestic violence (DV) requires EIGE to support the collection of administrative data on VAW and DV, with a focus on support services. This study supports the implementation of the Directive by developing a framework of common definitions and indicators for a standardised data collection on VAW/DV support services.

In addition, the project assesses how various support services operate as part of a wider system of support. Using an intersectional approach to the analysis, we look at specific barriers and challenges faced by vulnerable groups of women and children in accessing these services.
