EIGE seeks to strengthen its engagement with media at the EU and national levels as well as continue to create impact on social media guided by rich and qualitative monitoring insights.
- The Agency currently leverages evidence to enhance communication efforts. This involves regularly monitoring media and social media performance to identify topics of interest, successful content, and areas for improvement.
- The Agency expands its listening capabilities through ad hoc media and social media monitoring reports on specific topics and explores key themes and narratives in line with ongoing and evolving thematic priorities such as gender-based violence, unpaid care and gender stereotypes.
- With the support of regular media and social media monitoring including quantitative and qualitative insights, paired with strategic recommendations to strengthen the Agency’s external position as a go-to source for gender equality information, EIGE’s communication methods continue to evolve and adapt to maintain relevance and impact in a rapidly changing and increasingly digital world.
