The report provides an analysis of methodological options on the cost of gender-based violence and intimate partner violence, by studying different literature and studies, and provides recommendations. It includes a case study on the cost of intimate partner violence against women in the UK during 2012 and provides a calculation of the costs in the EU.
This report is based on a study commissioned by EIGE on ‘Methods, tools and good practices in the field of women in the media’. The study lasted from August 2012 until May 2013.
