European Committee on Legal Co-operation of the Council of Europe organises a webinar on mainstreaming gender in public and private law reform processes.

The webinar serves two purposes:

  • promote gender mainstreaming among decision-makers, particularly among ministries of justice of the member States who represent the majority of the committee;
  • promote the recently published Council of Europe practical guide on mainstreaming gender in public and private law reform processes.

We hope that by demonstrating also practical examples, this would further encourage the policy makers to consider mainstreaming gender, following the simple steps.

EIGE's Researcher Helena Morais Maceira presents the Institute's work on gender-responsive public procurement as a way to demonstrate how this can be done and how it is possible.
