Maruša Gortnar participates in the side-event "Regional organizations as accelerators of gender parity in national politics" at the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) taking place in New Work from 9 to 19 March. The side-event, organised by the European Union and OSCE ODIHR explores the role of regional organisations in promoting the achievement of gender parity in decison-making across all levels of public life, including decisive action to prevent and respond to violence that excludes women from politic, as per CEDAW General Recommendation n. 40 (2024).
