EIGE Director meets the Lithuanian Minister for Social Security and Labour, Ms Inga Ruginiene, to discuss recent developments in gender equality at the national level and explore ways in which EIGE's research and expertise can support Lithuania's efforts to mainstream gender equality.
A key focus of the meeting is on the upcoming Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council in 2027, with discussions on how EIGE can provide technical assistance and expertise to help Lithuania integrate gender equality into its presidency priorities and initiatives.
