Italian Parliament’s Inquiry Committee on Femicide and Gender-based Violence Visits EIGE

EIGE welcomes the Italian Parliament’s Inquiry Committee into Femicide and Gender-based Violence for an exchange on EIGE’s work on feminicide.

As part of its ongoing comparative study of European legal systems, the Committee is seeking to identify best practices in the prevention of gender-based violence, with a particular focus on economic violence and femicide. The visit to EIGE offers an opportunity to discuss the Institute’s research and data collection efforts, and to share insights on legal and policy frameworks that support the protection of women and girls across the EU.
