EIGE Director Carlien Scheele participates at the EU informal ministerial meeting on equality, taking place in Pamplona, Spain.
The meeting focuses on the current challenges in the response to violence against women in the Member States, specifically with regard to data collection and support for victims, as well as the challenge of addressing old and emerging forms of violence.
At the margins of the meeting, EIGE Director holds bilateral talks with:
- Helena Dalli, the EU Commisioner for Equality
- Maria-Alexandra Kefala, Greek Deputy Minister for Social Cohesion & Family Affairs
- Maria-Andriani Kostopoulou, President of GREVIO, Council of Europe.
