EIGE’s Gender-Based Violence Researcher, Monica Barbovschi, joins the 25th Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology (EUROCRIM2025), taking place in Athens from 3 to 6 September 2025.
Monica presents “Measuring violence against children: a statistical overview”, featuring data from the EU-GBV survey. The presentation explores the prevalence and nature of violence against children, emphasising the critical role of comparable, high-quality data in shaping effective policies and interventions across the EU.
