The European Parliament will host the 2nd European Gender Summit on 29-30 November in Brussels. You can see the programme and speakers' details on http://www.gender-summit.eu The Summit brings together top-level science and policy leadership to discuss the latest gender research evidence and gender equality actions taken by leading science institutions, and to introduce consultation on the creation of a Joint Gender Quality Standard.

This is an unprecedented opportunity to align research, innovation and gender mainstreaming policy agendas to improve quality and effectiveness of the scientific endeavour at national and European levels at a time of important challenges facing society.
