EIGE’s researcher Irene Rioboo Leston presents the results of the CARE survey at the 11th Conference of the European Survey Research Association.
This year’s conference theme, ‘Promises and problems of new and alternative data sources and formats for survey research: methodological challenges and substantive conclusions’, covers topics highly relevant to EIGE’s work. These include non-probability surveys, measuring sex and gender identity, constructing composite indices by combining data from multiple surveys, assessing survey quality, and methodologies for reaching hard-to-reach populations. Broader methodological aspects of survey design will also be explored.
The event typically brings together major institutions such as the European Social Survey, European Values Study, SHARE, GESIS, CESSDA, Eurofound, IPSOS, the U.S. Census Bureau, and several National Statistical Offices.
