Area 5 – The parliament complies with its SYMBOLIC function

A gender-sensitive parliament is aware and pays attention to the symbolic meanings conveyed within and by the institution.

Area 5 includes two domains with 11 indicators.

The first domain focuses on gender-sensitive organisation of parliament spaces. 

The second domain focuses on external communication and representation.
