The CDV engaged M. FSADNI & Associates (MF&A), a leading market research company, to conduct a nationwide quantitative research study. The overriding research objective of this study was to assess the prevalence of domestic violence in the Maltese Islands and its impact on the employment prospects of the relative victims. The quantitative research survey was conducted by means of in-depth one-to-one, personal interviews with 1,200 female survey respondents from Malta and Gozo during the months of February-March, 2010.
