Description

EIGE’s study on gender-responsive public procurement (GRPP) in the EU aimed to contribute to a more gender equal distribution of economic resources by promoting the use of GRPP in the EU.

The project mapped, identified and selected examples and good practice cases at EU, national and regional levels. It also gives recommendations to the EU and Member States on how to increase and widen the use of gender-responsive public procurement.

A step-by-step toolkit to support contracting authorities in applying GRPP throughout the entire public procurement cycle was developed, tested and published on EIGE’s Gender Mainstreaming Platform.
