EIGE’s assignment on gender mainstreaming includes, among others, the promotion of gender budgeting: a strategy to achieve equality between all women and men by focusing on how public resources are collected and spent.

EIGE is conducting a gender assessment of the European Commission’s proposal for the next multiannual financial framework (MFF) and estimates the gender impacts of the post-2027 spending priorities and produce a policy brief.
