Description
The CARE Survey offers unique, EU-wide data to track progress on the EU’s promises to close gender gaps in caregiving and improve access to affordable high-quality care services. The survey is aligned with the key policy frameworks, like the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, the European Pillar of Social Rights, the European Care Strategy, and the Work-life Balance Directive, and explores a wide range of themes. These include informal care for children, long-term care, access to care services, housework, leisure, volunteering, political engagement, work-life balance, gender norms, health and well-being, use of digital tools and sustainable choices in caring activities. 2nd wave survey reports published in 2025.
