Quality assurance of glossary and thesaurus in Czech, Danish, Irish, Maltese and Slovak

The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) envisages awarding a low-value contract for the quality assurance of the gender equality glossary and thesaurus translations in Czech, Danish, Irish, Maltese and Slovak.

Description of the requested services

To promote greater consistency and understanding of common gender equality terms in Europe, EIGE has published a Gender Equality Glossary and Thesaurus. The Glossary is planned as a multi-linguistic product covering all EU languages. EIGE has translated the terms and definitions of the Glossary and Thesaurus from English into the other official EU languages.

The purpose of this procurement procedure is to conclude a contract with a service provider who will review the translated versions of the glossary and thesaurus in Czech, Danish, Irish, Maltese and Slovak and ensure that the translations are gender sensitive. The service provider will also be requested to translate up to 10 terms and definitions.

Description of the procedure

This ex-ante publicity is the first stage of the negotiated procurement procedure through which EIGE may award the above-mentioned contract.
