The European Institute for Gender Equality is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure.
This study falls within the area of research on gender-based violence (GBV) in crisis contexts, with a particular focus on GBV identification, referral, and protection practices in EU asylum reception systems. It aims to strengthen the identification and support of GBV victims among asylum seekers and other displaced populations in the EU. This study builds directly upon EIGE’s 2024/2025 research on GBV in migration contexts and will deepen that evidence base by focusing specifically on asylum reception centre procedures and frontline implementation. The study focuses on both national-level legal and policy frameworks and local practices within reception centres.
