EIGE focused on raising awareness on the economic and social implications of GBV for the annual campaign.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) came to a close yesterday – which coincided with Human Rights Day (10 December).

EIGE marked this important occasion by highlighting 16 aspects of prevention and protection against GBV, looking at finance and resources among other key areas on the Institute’s social media channels.

The "Orange the World," campaign is an international initiative founded by the United Nations Secretary General to raise awareness and take action against GBV.
