EIGE, in collaboration with the UN Women Europe and Central Asia Regional Office, co-hosts a side-event to the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region.
The event intends to explore the potential of gender sensitive parliaments, to build and enforce effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions for all.
The side-event brings together key stakeholders from regional institutions, governments, civil society, and academia. Thus, it highlights good practices related to gender sensitive parliaments in the region with both practical and aspirational examples from parliamentary experiences.
Moreover, the event provides valuable tools and resources to enhance gender sensitivity and promote inclusivity within the Parliaments.
