As part of the project on gender-sensitive parliaments, EIGE is developing an evidence-based tool on gender equality action plans to support members of parliament and parliamentary administration to plan and monitor progress towards transformative change for gender equality.
This Experts’ Meeting brings together representatives of parliaments at European, national, and regional level, as well as experts in the field of gender-sensitive parliaments and international organisations to exchange views and experiences on developing, adopting, implementing and monitoring gender equality action plans in parliaments as a key tool for gender mainstreaming, and review and provide feedback to the EIGE's step-by-step tool before it is finalized.
