EIGE’s Director, Carlien Scheele, and the Research and Policy Support Head of Unit, Maruša Gortnar, join the EU delegation to attend the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York, USA.
The EU Agency participates in several meetings and events, taking the floor on several occasions and on several topics:
on Financial Empowerment of Women and Girls at a side event organized by Austria;
on Party Democracy and Social Justice at the event organized by Spain;
and on Care and Gender Equality at the event hosted by the EULAC Foundation.
EIGE’s Research and Policy Support Head of Unit, then, attends a panel discussion on Equality Bodies during Crises, an event organised by Estonia.
Furthermore, the EU Agency for Gender Equality holds many bilateral meetings with UN Women, EULAC Foundation and the ECOSOC.
